Ariadne
Once upon a time, in a world where magic flowed as free as rivers themselves and enchantment rang sturdily and vibrantly through the air, there lived a girl named Ariadne. Her name, meaning "most holy," carried a weight of destiny that she had yet to discover fully.
Ariadne lived in a small village nestled in the shadow of a towering mountain, where legends spoke of seven enchanted realms hidden within its mysterious peaks. It was said that whoever could make the journey through these realms and break the seals binding them would be granted unimaginable freedom. The village that Ariadne lived in received no sunlight due to the shadow cast by the towering mountain. Legend also said that whoever broke the binding seals would remove the shadow, allowing sunlight to flood the little village where children were pale and sick from lack of sunlight, and adults lived shorter lives due to deficiencies.
The Seven Seals
Ariadne knew that she would be the person who ultimately made the journey through these realms, and it was something that she had known since she was a very small child. Filled with a steely determination and guided by cheering whispers of her name, the day arrived when Ariadne set out on her quest, not knowing what to expect. Little did she know that she would behold equal amounts of wonder and peril in each realm.
